About
A linguist who is also a user of what he translates
Languages were a passion long before they were a profession, which is how I ended up translating, interpreting and writing for a living rather than doing anything else. Since 2015 I have worked on Hungarian content for global fintech, crypto and technology brands, first as a translator and then as the reviewer who signs off on what goes live.
Being an active crypto user myself is a large part of why that work holds up: I know what a fee schedule, a staking page or a KYC error message is supposed to mean before I start translating it. My work is deliberate and thoroughly checked, and I would rather ask you one more question than guess.

Nearly all of my work is covered by non-disclosure agreements and client confidentiality, so I do not publish samples or client documents here.
If you are considering working with me, ask and I will share what I am permitted to share for your specific enquiry: a short unpublished test, publicly available material I worked on, or an anonymised extract. The same applies to references and testimonials, which are sensitive client information I release individually and only with permission.
A paid test translation of your own content is usually the fastest way to judge the quality.

Who processes your data
Fülöp Gábor e.v. (address and contact details as in the legal notice) is the data controller.
What is collected and why
The enquiry form collects your name, company, email address and the details of your project, for the sole purpose of answering your enquiry and preparing a quote. The legal basis is your consent and my legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries (GDPR Article 6(1)(a) and (f)).
Who else sees it
Form delivery is handled by Web3Forms (Sperse Inc.), hosting by Cloudflare, Inc., and email by Google LLC, each acting as a processor. No data is sold or used for marketing.
How long it is kept
Enquiries are kept for one year from the last message, then deleted. Data relating to accepted projects is kept for as long as tax law requires.
